"Place lore: synthetic concept and the archive on the landscape"
In this presentation, I will primarily discuss stones and the legends surrounding them in Estonia. In doing so, I will introduce some key themes in Estonian mythology and explore regional variations. This will lead to more contemporary questions about heritage-making and how shifting meanings are reflected within the legend genre.
